The tournament is the weekend of Aug. 26 to 28.
The Friday league will play one game on Friday night and two on Saturday.
The Sunday league will play two games on Saturday and one on Sunday.

Thanks to everyone who participated in our first annual Vicki Jackson Memorial Weekend. It was a fun and emotional weekend of games.
We hope you enjoyed playing in honour of your loved ones and raising awareness of the fight against cancer.
Our year end tournament is August 26 to 28, 2011. Make sure you mark your calendar!
Vicki Jackson Memorial Weekend!

On the weekend of July 8-10, our games will be part of our first "Vicki Jackson Memorial Weekend!"
Vicki played Sistas with friends and family for many years. She lost her battle with brain cancer in November of 2010 and we want to honour her memory and the memory of all our loved ones who have fought or are fighting the battle with cancer.
What you can do to be part of it:
1. Your captain will give you a sticker to wear during your game -- fill in the blank with the person you want to remember and honour.
2. Wear as much pink as possible during your game (please still wear your jersey) to show your support for those who are battling cancer.
That's it -- our goal is to honour Vicki and other loved ones, as well as raise awareness!

The city is forced to further delay the opening of all city fields until after May 16th due to all the rain. They cannot get the equipment on the fields to do any maintenance. Games will begin the weekend of May 20-22nd.

City wide field closures

The city is forced to delay the opening of all city fields until after May 9th due to all the rain. They cannot get the equipment on the fields to do any maintenance. Games will begin the weekend of May 13-15th.
Because of the delay of the start of the season, we will be scheduling games for the Victoria Day weekend, May 20-22. Please check the updated schedule for your game time and location.

This year we will have custom socks available for purchase when you register online. We'll get a pic of them to you as soon as we can, but until then, picture good quality black socks with the our logo on them. All for $10 plus GST = $10.50!

Currently Sistas in Soccer is off for the winter. We will be posting the registration dates for our 2010 season right after Christmas. So, in the meantime, have a wonderful Christmas and we'll see you all again very soon for our 8th season of soccer!
Year End Tourney

The year end tournament is this coming weekend, Aug. 28 to 30th!
We have sent an email to all players, so if you haven't received all the info from us, please email us at info@sistasinsoccer.com.
The schedule for the tournament will be posted on Wednesday, August 26th.
Each team will play three games.
The Friday night league will play Friday night to Saturday afternoon.
The Sunday league will play Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
Prizes will be awarded to the championship teams of both Pool A and Pool B.

The tournament has been booked!
Save the weekend of August 28 to 30 for the year end tournament.
The Friday league will play Friday night and Saturday morning till noon.

Positive Identity will be there selling Sistas clothing and our "baby shower" for the Crisis Pregnancy Centre will be there too ~ more details to follow.

The answer is yes, you can.
Here's how:
When you click Online Registration, there is an option to Register To Play with Someone Else. Pick that one.
A complete list of instructions on how to register as a team will come up.
The key is to have everyone in your group put the same "codeword" in the registration form. It's totally simple! And it works.
You can click on that link now to see how it works, you just can't actually register until....

It's time to start planning for summer time fun! At present, our soccer fields at Windermere are under 3 feet of water but in four short months we will be kicking off our seventh season of Sistas in Soccer!
To register for Sistas in Soccer for 2009, please read the info below carefully.
The Friday night league registration will open on Tuesday, February 10th at 12:00pm (noon). The Sunday afternoon league registration will open on Thursday, February 12th at 12:00pm (noon).
To make your registration process faster, please follow these steps prior to registration:
1. From our London website, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the computer icon that reads "register online". Click on "register yourself individually" and then click "register now".
2. You will then be prompted to log in or set up an account. If you played last year, you should have an account. Ensure that you can log in to your account. If you have forgotten your password, follow the prompt on the side of the page. It will email you a new password. Again, we cannot stress how important it is that you do this prior to registration launching.
3. If you did not play last year, you should create a new account for yourself now.
All registrations and payments must be done online with a Visa or Mastercard.
The season will begin the first weekend in May.

We have had a really great 2008 season -- thanks to all the Sistas for making it so much fun. The tournament went really well and we were so glad to hear so much positive feedback from you. We'll look forward to doing it again. The championship teams will be posted shortly -- congrats to all of you. Also, a special thanks to all our Captains and Sissy's of the Year -- you make a big difference in our league. Have a great fall and don't forget to check this website after Christmas for the 2009 Registration dates.
